A less than glorious end for Northern Ireland’s first Catholic Director of Public Prosecutions, in circumstances which will be hailed by the English Tory Right as a victory for ex-soldiers facing possible prosecution for killings like those on Bloody Sunday. Cue crowing from The Daily Telegraph et al.
