Even if Covid did not exist, I would find this activity – at a swimming resort in the Ozarks (a mountainous range at the junction of Missouri, Arkansas and Oklahoma) pretty stomach churning. The semi-circle at the centre of the pool is a bar, begging the obvious question – how many drinkers needing a pee will bother to seek out the toilet? But as the Delta variant of Covid spreads, this is sheer lunacy.
